By paying a fair price for the tea, you contribute to the work of Dilmah Conservation that aims to counteract monoculture and soil exhaustion and promote biodiversity. This goes against the general practices of the mainstream tea industry as it drastically reduces the tea yield per hectare. In the longer term, everyone is better off and Sri Lanka's agriculture is sustainably protected from climate change and natural disasters.
