Description
This aromatic cup of tea is a bright and medium strength Ceylon Single Region tea, extended in texture and flavour by ceylon nutmeg, clove, cocoa and cinnamon. The island harmony chai is filled with authentic Sri Lankan herbs and spices. The Ayurvedic view is based on the healing powers of nature. A centuries-old wisdom that has been passed on from generation to generation, but not (all) scientifically proven. Below we share all the ingredients in the Arana mélanges and what functionalities are attributed to them;
The cinnamon in your cup of tea is 100% Ceylon Cinnamon. Thanks to your purchase of Dilmah tea the Dilmah Conservation can protect the endangered species, like the Dragonfly at our estate Hunuwela. Our Hunuwela Estate is the home to a total of 282 species of flora and 214 species of fauna and is an important repository of Sri Lanka’s biodiversity. A significant discovery was the presence of two highly endangered (both nationally and globally) species named dragonflies – the Rivulet Tiger (Gomphidia pearsoni) and Wijaya’s Scissortail (Microgomphus wijaya) – along with another 58 endemic and 28 (nationally/globally) endangered species residing within the estate.
