Description
Fresh, with a spring-like fragrance. This is a combination of herbs known to be potent in ayurveda. Heenaratta, also known as snap ginger, contributes mild bitterness and elegantly embraces coriander to offer an energetic combination of flavours. Ceylon Cinnamon adds its sweet woodiness to the mix, producing a long, deliciously piquant finish. The ingredients in this tea contain the following health benefits;
Your fresh cup of tea contains, among other, Ceylon cinnamon which is known as true & pure cinnamon. The Ceylon cinnamon tree grows best in moist, well-drained soil and rarely reaches more than fifteen meters (49 feet) in length. The bark contains essential oils that have been shown to contain antibacterial properties. The leaves are dried and ground into powder. Our holding is called the MJF Group and is the largest producer of Ceylon Cinnamon in Sri Lanka. At Dilmah our primary objective is the welfare of our workers and those who make the business successful, not profit. To renew our commitment to worker welfare, Founder Merrill J. Fernando and CEO Dilhan C. Fernando kicked off with the laying of a foundation stone by Dilmah at Hunuwela’s Cinnamon factory in September 2020. Interested in how we take care of our workers, read about it here.
